a note about me
I believe that wellness is the personal journey one takes to reach the truest and highest expression of themselves. At its deepest point, I believe it to be the commitment that one makes with themselves to consciously and consistently practice love, honour and acceptance of self.
Although nutrition has played a large role in my overall personal health, my wellness journey does not start or end with nutrition alone. It has involved a major emotional, mental, spiritual and energetic shift towards a state of awareness and acceptance. This shift is in constant motion, and each day I commit to moving through it wholeheartedly.
After my own personal challenge with physical dis-ease and emotional blockage, and witnessing the associated set backs in my own life, I am committed to guiding and supporting women on their wellness journey. Through holistic nutrition, wellness and lifestyle education/coaching, it is my hope to mobilize and empower women to take responsibility for their well-being in order to live their best lives.

Carter Reid is a holistic nutritionist and wellness consultant living in Toronto, Canada, and runs a private practice, The Wellnss Practice, in the city’s west end.
Carter graduated from the Institute of Holistic Nutrition, specializing in applied holistic nutrition, and is a Certified Nutritional Practitioner (CNP).
She is a member of the International Organization of Nutritional Consultants, as a Registered Orthomolecular Health Practitioner (ROHP) and RNCP.
Her area of interest is women’s health with a particular focus on detoxification/drainage, gastrointestinal and nervous systems (the gut brain connection), and mental/emotional wellness.
